The 2019 NPRC Printing Industry Wage & Benefits Study has been officially released effective Dec. 17th, according to NPRC Executive Director John Stewart. This and other publications available in the NPRC Bookstore can be ordered and shipped between Dec. 17th and Dec. 21st. Orders placed placed after Dec. 21st will not be shipped until Jan 2, 2019, adds Stewart.
Firms that participated in the recent survey will automatically received their FREE copies on Dec. 11-12, 2018, according to NPRC.

The new 138-page wage study reveals wages and benefits for 24 key positions in the printing industry. The soon-to-be-released study also covers sales and compensation practices for outside sales representatives.
This information-packed study provides average and median salary data for 24 of the industry's most popular positions, including general managers and CSRs, as well as graphic designers, and digital and offset press operators. Also included are mailing and large format specialists.
More than 200 firms participated in this most recent survey. Participants reported average 2018 (projected) sales of $1.7 Million and median sales of $1 million, according to NPRC.
Average sales per employee (SPE) for participants in this year's survey was $139,000. Median SPE was slightly lower at $134,000 - both figures are remarkably similar to what was reported in 2016.
The new study provides wage and salary data based upon population density, geographic locations, sales and SPE levels.
