2016-17 Printing Industry Digital Printing Pricing Survey – This study was released on Aug. 30, 2016, and is now available for sale to the general public. NPRC members are entitled to a 50% discount on the purchase of this and all studies published by either NPRC or by QP Consulting, Inc. The Digital Printing Pricing Study is a joint publishing project sponsored by NPRC and QP Consulting, IncThis new research study is aimed specifically at the digital printing segment of our industry. It is packed with the latest data for pricing all types of digitally produced products such as booklets, newsletters, flat sheets, business cards, and digitally printed envelopes. Also covered by this survey are average and median meter click fees, copier ratings, mark-up practices and discounting methods currently being used in use in the industry. 

2016-2017 Wage & Benefits Study – One of NPRC’s first industry research project, this new survey and subsequent report will bring you the very latest information on wages and salaries for 20+ positions in our industry… included in our coverage will be wages and benefits for positions such as general managers, production managers, customer service reps, digital and offset press operators as well as mailing technicians and bindery operators. This is one of our easiest surveys to complete, taking on average less than 20 minutes to complete. Every firm that completes a survey will receive a FREE copy of the final study.  This study was released in early October 2016 and is available in our bookstore.


2017-2018 Financial Benchmarking Study – A key, biennial research study that provides a comprehensive analysis of key financial benchmarks and ratios forthe quick and small commercial printing industry. This research study is one of the simplest to complete and yet provides a thorough analysis of exactly what it takes to become a profit leader in the industry. (Survey distribution date Feb. 2017. Publication date April 2017). Covering both “profit leaders” and “profit laggards,” this key research is considered by many experts and “profit leaders” one of the most valuable studies published in the printing industry. Participate in this study and receive a copy of the final report absolutely FREE. 


2017-2018 Mailing Services Pricing Study – A unique survey published on a biennial basis for more than 15 years, this survey is designed to provide a practical, yet detailed analysis of pricing practices and trends in the mailing services industry, especially as it applies to printers and copying firms offering mailing services as an adjunct to their other services. (Survey distribution date April 2017. Projected publication date June 2017)



2017-2018 Bindery Service Pricing Study – A study dedicated specifically to covering dozens and dozens of unique bindery services offered in the offset printing and digital arena. Fees and charges for services such cutting, folding, tape-binding, along with fees for on-line and off-line bindery services are covered in this survey. (Tentative survey distribution date June/July 2017. Publication date Aug. 2017)

2017-18 Signs & Large Format Pricing Study – A special survey concentrating on the 20% of products and services in the sign and large format industry that account for 80% of the income. (Survey Distribution date Sept/Oct. 2017; Publication date Dec. 2017.)
